Crazy for Scotland part 1

These are few pics of my (and my daughters')  journey to Killin and the Dochart Falls. We drove by Callander, a lovely small town. I hope you enjoy!

Lovely, quiet and green..and the church, is simply wonderful, isn't it?

Highland's Art shop..these kind of shops, I love them!

When I saw those people there, I thought I would take a pic, they seemed to enjoy the nice and relatively warm weather outside the restaurant..and the surroundings were beautiful!!!

And here we are, Killin..such a nice, small place!

The falls in June..not much water, as you can see, but I think the rocks and the trees combinates a marvellous scenery!

On the road to the falls...

The falls, and there, the Breadalbane's Mill..

The Breadalbane's Folklore centre and the Mill!

The Mill :)

Wii!coins, wish me luck! :)

The entrance..isn't it so pretty?

A unique taste for flowers...had to take this pic, it's lovely!

I wonder why there was this wolf...whether it is a "symbol" of Breadalbane or just there to "scare" tourists? It was lovely though!

A private lane... :) picturesque!

Hope you liked,
I will be adding more pics on separate post about my trip to Scotland, so you will get to see the West Highlands, Fort William, Stirling Castle and so on and so forth..But I hope you've enjoyed so far!

Ohhh beautiful! And I love the name of that shop, in the first photo... 'Desireables'. :-)

Ohhh you went to Stirling! Oh sigh, I've had a dream [which will be unfulfilled but...] to go to Scotland in the Spring and travel the path of William Wallace. As it were. I had it all figured out, at one time. And of course, his victory at Stirling Bridge is historic.

Yes, I'm 1/4 Scottish. :-) The rest being Irish, German and Austrian.
